The written examination is being conducted in the following eight districts. Candidates are assigned to one of these based on their application and regional availability:

1. Ranchi
2. Bokaro
3. Dhanbad
4. Deoghar
5. Dumka
6. Ramgarh
7. Khunti
8. East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur)

Note: The specific school or college name (Exam Venue) will only be mentioned on your Admit Card, which you can download starting April 9, 2026.

1. Visit the official JSSC portal at jssc.nic.in.
2. Navigate to the “Important Links” section on the homepage.
3. Click on the link titled “Link for Exam City Details – JECCE 2023”.
4. Login using your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
5. Download the PDF slip to see your designated city and shift timing.

Important Exam Day Instructions.

• Mandatory Documents: You must carry a printed copy of the Admit Card and a valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID).
• Timing: The exam is typically conducted in three shifts. Check your specific reporting time on the admit card to avoid disqualification.
• Mode: The exam will be OMR-based (Offline).

Selection Process:–

• Commission will take OMR based written examination.
• The exam will be taken in three stages: (a) Physical Efficiency Test (b) Written Examination (c) Medical Test.
• Written examinations questions will be objective and objective type answers, the full mark of one question will be 3 and for each correct answer 3 marks will be given and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted
